Perfect getaway for families
The staff were genuinely friendly, especially a woman named Fatma who went beyond to make our stay amazing. they even helped reserve a table for us every evening at the dining hall, remembering our preferences like professionals.
The cost was a bit steep but still reasonable for the quality we got.

Here’s what you need to know
The resort's pool area boasts stunning views, with direct access to a pristine beach. The friendly staff ensures every request is met, making it an enjoyable stay. While accommodations vary, the traditional beach houses are a highlight. Expect delicious seafood and varied meal options during your visit.

i thought i was getting a 5-star experience, but no sun after 4.30 p.m. and horrible loungers that felt like jail. my knee issues woudl ve been alleviated with a room on a level pathway, but no such luck. also, paying £50 for room retention only to be nickel-and-dimed for coffee was beyond absurd. almost gave it a good review, but just couldn’t.

We had a fantastic stay with friends, enjoying excursions like snorkeling near Mnemba and visiting Prison Island. The beachfront was stunning, with plenty of activities during our stay. The staff, especially Daoud, were friendly and accommodating, making every day enjoyable. The food was varied, and we appreciated the vibrant evening shows!
The only downside was the lack of music during the day, which could make the atmosphere more lively. It would be great if they had some tunes by the pools or bars to enhance the relaxing vibe.

The grounds feature stunning gardens that are well maintained, providing a lush backdrop to the stay. With four pools, including one for quiet relaxation, the layout offers plenty of space to unwind. Beachside access to endless soft sand and clear waters perfect for swimming.
While the beach is beautiful, it can get crowded with loungers packed closely together, limiting space for personal enjoyment. The dining experience lacks variety, particularly for those seeking fresh seafood and diverse vegetable options, as the same ingredients seem to dominate different themed nights. There’s limited food availability between meals, and packed lunches need improvement, as a half-eaten sandwich and minimal snacks do not suffice for long excursions.

Had a delightful experience at Sultan Sands. The location is stunning with direct beach access and a picturesque view of Kiwengwa Beach. The outdoor pool area offers a relaxing atmosphere with plenty of loungers available. I appreciated Dass, the resort manager, who always made an effort to engage with guests and addressed any concerns promptly. We truly enjoyed the varied seafood dishes offered daily, particularly the fresh platter they organized on our last evening when we requested it. The restaurant staff members were attentive and made dining a pleasure. rooms fell short of expectations. The one we received had limited space, outdated amenities, and we found the mattress uncomfortable. Wi-Fi connectivity in the room was poor, which was frustrating as we often struggled to stay connected. the beach area was crowded, and there were times when the beach boys were a bit too persistent in their selling. Despite these drawbacks, I enjoyed the overall ambiance and friendliness of the staff.
